On June 10th Superintendent Shuldiner met with our students at Lincoln High School to announce his recommendation for the location of the school’s new athletic field. He is asking Seattle Parks & Recreation to parter with SPS on designing a full size, multi-sport athletic field at N 50th Street and Aurora Ave N. The request is based on the concept presented as Option B on April 25th.
Parks & Rec is holding a Community Engagement Meeting on Thursday, July 9th. As always, there will be lots of NIMBYs there (Not In My Back Yard). We need to continue pushing the importance of this field for our Lincoln Students!!! Show up and Be HEARD!
